Thanks, Sean-Paul. I understand the sensitivity, so I don't want to pry. But I'd love to hear any stories you want to share.

I feel the same way about the language. It's beautiful!
Do you have articles about your time in Russia? Please...please... :) I have recently traveled to Iran, Ethiopia, and Istanbul with your stories. I'd love to see Russia this morning!

Nyet. Ya plokha gavaryoo pa rooskee.
I can say about 50 words, but can't string them together in anything more than basic sentences. The man eats. The girl does not drive the car. Red. Black. Yellow. Green. Hello! Good-bye! I can only say enough to confuse people. So far! My 3 year old son is learning along with me and is picking it up much faster. He named the two pterodactyls on his wall hleb (bread) and iatseo (eggs)...go figure. We're learning in Cyrillic, so that transliteration is probably off. As you can see, I am at the very beginning. Are you fluent?

I went over and checked out the website you have posted here. Is it a group of friends? I noticed there are several people who have contributed. I'd be curious to hear more about your take on the site.
